About CannyCoasters

CannyCoasters is a trading name of Barbara Davidson Pottery. Barbara established her business in 1969, in Larbert. She has designed and made products which have found their way to all corners of the world, and many of the earlier ones are now highly collectible!

All secure on-line payment transactions with CannyCoasters will be shown on your Credit Card Statement as Barbara Davidson Pottery.

All phone calls to CannyCoasters.com are charged at the standard UK rates. Our customer services are available between GMT 0900hrs - 1700hrs Monday - Friday.

Complaints

Any complaints should be directed in the first instance to the Customer Service Department at CannyCoasters.com either by telephone Monday - Friday GMT 0900hrs - 1700hrs on +44 (0)1324 554430. Calls are charged at standard UK rates. The customer service department can also be contacted by Email on customerservice@CannyCoasters.com or in writing to the above address.

All complaints will be dealt with in an expedient, fair and confidential manner and will be answered within 5 working days and we aim to resolve any dispute within 28 days. The customer will be informed at all stages of the complaints process. Our complaints process is constantly under review.

Confirmation

All orders will be confirmed on line. This is your confirmation so please print out a copy for your own information. On-Line

Prices

All prices are in pounds sterling, (£). Value Added Tax, (VAT) will be added at time of ordering to all orders sent to European Union countries. Orders to countries outside of the European Union do not attract UK tax.

Taxes

All prices are quoted for World-wide retail excluding VAT, and retail Europe including VAT. Wholesale prices on request. Our quotations are valid for 28 days from date of issue unless otherwise noted. We reserve the right to vary the contract, however the buyer will be notified of any such changes.

Orders

Orders will not be processed until payment is made in full. Orders remaining unpaid within 28 days of completion will be cancelled.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Switch, Delta, Solo and Euro card. All online orders are securely processed on our behalf by Protx, (www.protx.com). However if you would rather not pass credit details over the Internet please contact us on above email / telephone / fax and we will arrange other payment methods.

Delivery

Most items will be delivered from stock within 30 days. We will strive to complete and send all orders within 3-5 days of receipt of payment. If we are unable to deliver goods within the standard time, the customer will be informed and given the option to cancel the order. We will offer an alternative delivery date if necessary.

Guarantee

All our goods are guaranteed against manufacturers defect for 28 days from the date of sale.

Carriage & Delivery

We always send your goods by a highly reputable carrier, giving the best combination of value for money and speed of delivery. Goods should normally be received within 5 days of leaving here. If goods arrive in a damaged state – it is imperative that we have notification within 5 days of delivery by either e.mail, fax or in writing. It is also necessary to retain all damaged goods and packaging, so that they can be inspected by the carrier’s agents – if so required, for a period of no less than 3 weeks from date of delivery.

We will normally replace damaged goods, but at our discretion retain the right to refund where this is impractical, or identical items are no longer available.

Returns

We have a no nonsense policy on returns. If your product is faulty and you return it to us in its original packaging with invoice within 15 days we will refund the full cost of the product. We will be happy to refund the cost of carriage if the return is a result of error on our behalf otherwise delivery charges will not be refunded. If you are not satisfied with your goods for whatever reason, you may cancel your order up to 7 days upon receipt of the goods. We will refund your payment within 30 days of receiving the goods returned to us in the original packaging and condition - as sold by us.

Warranties & Liabilities

Your use of the site is at your own risk. The site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and Non Infringement.

We make no warranty that the site will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free or that the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by you through the site will meet your expectations, and any errors in the site will be corrected.

Our liability to you

All terms, conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by statute, applicable local law or otherwise in relation to the goods you ordered are excluded. Nothing in this condition is however intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded.

Law

The contract between us should be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Scottish Law and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. If any part of these terms shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable (Including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) then that part provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Your statutory rights are not affected.

All goods shall remain the property of CannyCoasters.com until full purchase price has been paid
